Senior Front End Engineer - Japan

At DataVisor, we are working hard to find excellent web front-end engineers who can constantly challenge ourselves and surpass ourselves. We hope that candidates have a solid development foundation and broad front-end or full-stack development experience. Mature experience in front-end framework, early start-up technology company experience is preferred, we look forward to furthering communication with you!

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2. 3+ years of web development experience with strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript fundamentals.
3. 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular (preferred) or React.
4. Familiarity with web testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver) and demonstrated experience writing end-to-end (E2E) test cases, test suites, and unit tests for front-end code. Experience extending and optimizing existing applications and performing performance tuning.
5. Experience with Node.js server-side development and database interface development.
6. Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
7. Must be a resident of Japan.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with annotated JavaScript such as TypeScript, as well as related technologies (e.g., SCSS, mixins).
2. Experience with data visualization and proficiency in SQL programming.
3. Background in Java/Spring programming with knowledge of back-end web development and big data analysis.
4. Proficiency in using version control and DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
5. Experience working in Agile environments, including managing sprints and backlogs in Jira.
