The Heightened Investigations team’s mission is to be on the front line of protecting both our customers and our firm from fraud threats and monetary loss.
As a Senior Fraud Investigations Escalation Specialist, you will review accounts flagged by both our internal models and cross functional business partners for fraudulent activity, connect with customers via out bound phone calls to conduct interviews regarding their activity and respond to escalations from senior leadership on high value accounts.

What you’ll do- Conduct in depth investigations on accounts flagged for possible fraud across a wide array of payment vehicles including crypto currency and wire
- Place out-bound calls to customers to discuss their activities; applying interview techniques and conversational analysis
- Respond swiftly to critical issues from Senior Leaders on accounts related to fraud matters with clear timelines of activity and resolution
- Engage with cross functional teams to resolve fraud adjacent issues for customers
- Participate in the discovery of emerging fraud trends on the front lines of new product launches
- 3-5 years fraud investigation or adjacent experience
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to interview customers with direct questions concerning account activity
- Razor focused attention to detail and observational analysis of account activity
- Strong communication with an emphasis on providing clear narratives and timelines swiftly
- This role requires the ability to work primary hours ranging between 10:00 AM ET - 8:00 PM ET, Wednesday to Sunday to meet the demands of the position as well as varying shifts throughout the workweek based on operational needs

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
