Senior FPSL Consultant

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior FPSL Consultant to join our team and play a pivotal role in transformation projects.  You will work as a consultant on customer projects which will hone your skills and expand your experience every step of the way. Based on your skills and ambitions, you will work in different phases of the project. During the project delivery phase, you will work with domain experts to gain business and technical knowledge while supporting project planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

For the successful delivery of SAP Fioneer implementation projects, the following consulting key areas are expected to be covered:

• Strong solution background/hands-on experience with SAP FSI Analytical solutions like S/4HANA for Financial Products Subledger (FPSL).
• Requirements gathering and management.
• Design of functional and technical concepts in the area of financial (subledger-) accounting with experience in banking/insurance regulations
• Data Modelling
• Data Integration
• Training and knowledge transfer
• Demonstrated ability to work well in teams, with positive interactions with colleagues and customers while solving complex problems.

FPSL Functional skills

FPSL Component Expertise in the following areas:

• Data Load Layer
• FPSL Data Model
• Result Data Layer
• FPSL Derivation Framework
• Primary Data Sources
• S/4 GL Integration

Profound Functional/Business Expertise and good knowledge of the FPSL Core processes:

• Register
• Day-End
• Period-End
• GL Prep & GL Send

FPSL Technical skills

ABAP Development Expert with deep knowledge in:

• Object oriented ABAP
• FPSL CVPM processes
• Derivations

Performance analysis

Level 3 root cause analysis of FPSL standard & custom code

Profound Knowledge of the HANA Database

Expert in SQLProfound Knowledge in raising OSS incidents and searching of relevant SAP notes in SAP portal.

• Min 7+ years working as a Technical FPSL Consultant with a large component expertise in FPSL, ABAP developer skills and a good functional expertise.
• University degree in Technology, Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Accounting, or relevant areas of studies.
• Strong analytical and technical skills as well as excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer, and will break down all barriers to ensure customer success.
• An enthusiasm to learn, and willingness to adapt to change and always look for ways to fully leverage your abilities no matter the task at hand.
• The adaptability to succeed in agile, cross-functional teams, with excellent written and verbal communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
