ControlUp is a Digital Experience Monitoring and Optimization platform that transforms the way IT admins manage their environment and troubleshoot issues. Our product suite enables IT Admins to be more proactive and have greater visibility into the digital experience of their users. Most of our customers utilize Citrix, VMware, Nutanix, and/or Microsoft for their virtualization layer. Additionally, we have many customers who utilize IGEL thin clients.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on corporate FP&A, developing reporting and board meeting materials, and serving as a strategic business partner to R&D leadership. You will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities:
- Corporate FP&A:
- Develop and manage comprehensive financial models, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
- Drive financial insights to support strategic planning and corporate decision-making.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data to provide actionable insights into performance trends.
- Reporting and Board Materials:
- Prepare, review, and present high-quality financial reports and materials for board meetings and executive leadership teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate, timely, and insightful reporting.
- Develop executive-level dashboards and visualizations for key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Business Partnership with R&D Leadership:
- Act as the primary financial business partner to the R&D team, supporting budget management, resource allocation, and financial forecasting.
- Provide strategic recommendations to R&D leadership to optimize investments and align with business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze R&D spending trends to ensure cost efficiency and value creation.
Who we’re looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CFA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in financial analysis, preferably with corporate FP&A experience in Software company.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficient in financial modeling, data analysis, and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
- Core Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
