As Senior FP&A Analyst, you’ll lead financial reporting, analytics, and planning capabilities for one of our key revenue verticals. You will operate as a financial and thought partner to the General Manager and leadership team of the vertical. You will enable the team to deliver on financial and strategic objectives through developing complex forecasts and analyses that will inform business decisions. You should have a high sense of ownership, a natural interest in continuously improving the way the business is viewed and a strong ability to communicate with non-financially minded peers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all quarterly, annual and long-range financial planning processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop, understand and track their execution plans against goals 
  • Build complex financial models and analyses to draw insights and make recommendations
  • Develop hypotheses, pressure test assumptions and forecast outputs related to new product launches, pricing changes and investments
  • Drive market and competitive benchmarking analyses to contextualize performance and guide decisions that accelerate our long-term growth 
  • Design metrics and leading indicators of business performance
  • Identify and quantify opportunities/risks to the business
  • Improve predictability of the business by continuously automating and scaling forecast processes and methodologies

Qualifications

  • 4 to 7 years of work experience, including minimum 2 years in investment banking, strategic finance or strategy consulting
  • Strong knowledge of GSuite, MS-Office and Looker/Tableau data visualization products
  • Strong business & financial acumen with understanding of marketplace business models, TAM sizing and cohort analysis
  • Ability to synthesize data, structure a concise presentation of findings, and articulate recommendations to a range of stakeholders
  • Ability to be resourceful and creative in problem solving when necessary to move projects forward tactically
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills 
  • Sharp attention to detail with high standards for accuracy
