In this role you can expect to:
- Own the excel financial model including modeling for financial statements and SaaS metrics
- Work with cross functional executives to dashboard and instrument KPIs, and ensure data integrity across all platforms
- Partner with the CFO and Controller to tackle tough business problems through analytics
- Architect the analytical foundation for the company as it scales
- Deep dive on analytics related to revenue, sales productivity and margins
- Assist in managing investor relations
- Partner with accounting to generate a comprehensive monthly reporting package
- Work with functional leaders to analyze our business and help them achieve their KPIs
- Manage relevant data systems
- Drive future scope of financial planning platform
- Own the annual, quarterly, and monthly financial planning/forecasting process and financial modeling
- Own the cash forecasting process
To be successful in this role you bring:
- Advanced Excel skills with deep experience of financial modeling/forecasting within the Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow and understanding how the inputs of modeling the three financial statements are connected
- 4+ years experience of modeling/forecasting for a SaaS company with deep understanding of SaaS metrics
- 6+ years financial analysis experience
- Strong technical skills and experience with aptitude of learning new software and systems
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience diving into data and metrics and explain key business drivers
- Self directed and always looking for ways to improve the business processes
- Strong experience with cross functional partnering and ability to build strong influence among business partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Other skills that would be useful:
- Ability to present complicated concepts in a simple manner
- Experience with the Mosaic Financial Planning Application
- Experience with the Salesforce platform and BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc)
- Start up experience where you have experienced a wide range of accounting processes
- Experience in Powerpoint and Google Suite
