The Role
Own and improve group budgeting, rolling forecasts, long-term planning, reporting, and scenario modeling across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Deliver insights to executives, the Board, and investors while enhancing FP&A through AI, automation, workflow redesign, and Pigment. The role also requires strategic partnering, executive influence, financial analysis, and development of a high-performing team.
Summary Generated by Built In
The Group is seeking an energetic, commercially minded FP&A Manager to help build a best-in-class, forward-looking FP&A function. This is a high-impact opportunity to strengthen the financial insight, planning discipline, systems and capabilities required for a high-growth international organisation to navigate transition and thrive beyond it.

About the role
You’ll own and continually improve our Group budgeting, rolling outlook and long-term planning processes, while delivering high-quality reporting for ExCo, the Board and investors. You’ll also strengthen scenario modelling across the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, helping senior stakeholders make better-informed decisions.

A major part of the role will be looking at how we can do things differently. You’ll identify opportunities to use AI, automation and smarter processes to create measurable improvements in efficiency and analytical capacity, while continuing to develop Pigment as our Group planning platform.

About you
You’ll bring:
  • A strong track record in FP&A, ideally within a fast-growing international organisation, with ownership of planning, forecasting and performance management.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability, including advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
  • Evidence of improving how FP&A operates, moving beyond reporting towards strategic partnering, scenario analysis and decision support.
  • Practical experience using AI, automation, data or workflow redesign to deliver tangible improvements in efficiency, accuracy or analytical capacity.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to influence executive-level stakeholders.
  • Experience developing and supporting a high-performing team.
  • A recognised accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent, alongside substantial post-qualification experience in senior FP&A roles.
Experience with Pigment would be highly desirable, although experience implementing or developing another enterprise planning platform would also be valuable.
Insurance, Lloyd’s market or private equity-backed experience would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.
