Job DescriptionAs a Senior FP&A Analyst at Skillz India, you will play a critical role in shaping our business decisions by translating strategy into numbers. You will build robust models, analyze KPIs, and partner with leaders across the business to drive financial rigor, accountability, and growth.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF and cohort-based frameworks, to forecast business performance.
- Translate strategic initiatives into predictive KPIs and actionable financial plans.
- Retrieve, analyze, and automate data flows using SQL and Snowflake; build dashboards in Tableau to track KPIs.
- Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring accountability to financial plans.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities and confidently challenge assumptions or say “no” to bad investments.
- Partner with business leaders to raise the bar on financial planning and ensure discipline in resource allocation.
- Create, document, and improve processes to scale financial planning and analysis across the organization.
- Drive impact by solving complex problems with intellectual curiosity, resilience, and a hands-on approach.
Strong background in financial modeling and valuation; ability to build new models from scratch.
Familiarity with DCF valuation and/or cohort-based modeling.
Proven ability to quickly understand new businesses or units and translate them into predictive KPIs.
Proficiency in SQL is a must; ability to retrieve and analyze data from Snowflake.
Experience with Tableau or other BI tools is a plus.
Durable and resilient: thrives in ambiguity and enjoys building from the ground up.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills; not afraid to challenge assumptions and hold stakeholders accountable.
Impact-driven and motivated by creating value, both for the company and for personal growth.
3–6 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or product FP&A roles.
Track record of impact and progression demonstrated through results and career growth.
