Role purpose
We are seeking a Senior FP&A Automation & Insights Analyst to lead the development of scalable planning, reporting, and analytics capabilities across the organisation. This role will combine strong financial acumen with automation and data expertise to improve forecasting accuracy, surface anomalies and performance risks, and generate actionable insights for decision-making.
As part of the Group Finance team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, finance and systems teams, and data owners to automate core FP&A processes, enhance data quality and reporting reliability, and translate complex financial and operational data into clear business insights. You will play a key role in building dashboards, exception-based reporting, and analytical tools that improve speed, control, and commercial decision support across regions and business units.

• Develop exception-based reporting and anomaly detection approaches to identify unusual trends, data issues, margin leakage, and emerging business risks.
• Monitor financial and operational KPIs, highlighting material deviations, root causes, and required management actions.
• Improve data integrity and reconciliation across multiple sources to ensure insight outputs are reliable and decision-useful.

• Build dashboards, scenario models, and performance packs that support strategic planning, investment choices, and commercial decision-making.
• Partner with finance and non-finance teams to identify performance drivers, opportunities, and risks across regions and business units.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
• Act as a subject matter lead for FP&A automation and reporting best practice, influencing process design and capability development across the function.
• Support adoption of modern analytics tools and ways of working, embedding stronger controls, faster insight generation, and a more proactive planning culture.

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field; professional qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent is advantageous.
• Significant experience in FP&A, performance reporting, business intelligence, or finance transformation within a group-level or multi-entity environment.
• Strong track record of automating reporting, planning, or data processes and improving the speed, accuracy, and control of finance outputs.
• Experience building dashboards, exception reporting, and analytical models that support anomaly detection, trend analysis, and commercial insight generation.
• Advanced Excel capability, including complex modelling and automation; experience with Power BI and other planning, ERP, or analytics tools is strongly preferred.
