Summary Generated by Built In

Founded in 2018 with co-headquarters in Dublin and Boston, Tines powers some of the world's most important workflows. Our intelligent workflow platform applies AI, automation, and integration with human ingenuity to drive real business results.

Tines serves a diverse range of customers, from startups to public companies, including Canva, Databricks, Elastic, Kayak, Intercom, and McKesson. As an integrator across the entire tech stack, Tines is vendor-agnostic integrating with any API-enabled service. This flexibility enables our customers to achieve their highest-priority goals faster. And because Tines is secure and private by design, it’s popular with security, IT, engineering, finance, and other security-focused teams.

At Tines, we're driven by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.

This is a remote role that must be based in MST or PST.About the Role

You'll join as a founding member of Tines’ forward deployed team, embedded directly with our most strategic enterprise customers to drive transformational AI adoption. Your job is to realize maximum potential for Tines’ customers and to ensure every stakeholder from end user to customer leadership understands and fully realizes the value of Tines.

You own the full arc of a customer's success: from deepening adoption and enabling stakeholders through to discovering new opportunities where the platform can create measurable business impact. You’ll show customers the art of what's possible and ensuring the value delivered today is only the beginning. You'll be the person customers trust most to make the Tines’ platform work for them in practice.

We expect our FDEs to operate autonomously, thrive in ambiguity and represent us at the highest level inside customer environments. You'll be as comfortable deep in a customer's technical environment as you are leading a training session with a non-technical team or presenting a business case to a CTO.

What you will be doing:
  • Own end-to-end deployment: Lead the technical implementation of Tines’ platform within complex enterprise environments. Integrating with existing systems, configuring for customer-specific workflows and ensuring a fast, smooth path to deliverable outcomes.
  • Drive adoption across the organisation: Proactively support and train users and stakeholders in the customer at every level from hands-on technical teams to business leaders ensuring the platform is understood actively used and maximized.
  • Identify and develop new use cases: Through deep familiarity with each customer's business, continuously surface new opportunities where Tines’ platform can create additional value expanding adoption across teams, workflows, and business units.
  • Be the primary technical point of contact: Serve as the customer's trusted advisor on all things platform-related. Troubleshooting issues, delivering workshops, answering technical questions and resolving blockers before they become problems.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships: Build lasting partnerships at every level of the organisation, from daily users to executive sponsors with a focus on long-term retention and growth.
  • Feed insights back to the product: Codify what you learn in the field. Surfacing recurring friction points, unmet needs and high-value use cases and sharing these with Tines’ internal teams such as Engineering, Product and GTM.
  • Travel 20–40% to customer sites to build trust, accelerate adoption and deepen relationships in person.
What you Bring with you:
  • 8+ years in a technical, customer-facing role: Solutions / Pre-sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Customer Success Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Integration / Implementation Engineer or Software Engineer with customer exposure
  • Proven track record of driving adoption and delivering measurable value from complex technical products inside enterprise environments
  • Strong engineering skills to own integrations, troubleshoot production issues and understand customer infrastructure
  • Strong Python skills (plus ideally TypeScript, Java, or similar)
  • Production experience with LLMs and AI systems: prompt engineering, agent workflows, and deployment at scale
  • Ability to train, enable and influence stakeholders across all levels
  • High agency and resourcefulness: you find a path forward independently, escalate only when necessary, and take full ownership of your accounts
  • Strong communication skills: clear, confident, and low-ego: you make complex things feel simple
  • Willingness to travel 20–40% to customer sites
Target Annual Compensation: $230K-280K OTE
