The Role

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

This Senior Product Line Manager will help create the future for Nike Golf and American Football footwear. They will partner cross-functionally with partners across Design, Development, Manufacturing, Finance, Merchandising and Marketing to bring product from Brief to Box. They will engage with Athletes* and marketplace partners to establish product, and marketplace needs and inspire a team to construct product accordingly. 

This posting is for 2 positions within the Product Line Management function. 

Golf

The ideal candidate for this role is someone who eats, sleeps, and breaths golf. They will take this passion for the sport and help mine insights from our Athletes* and the marketplace. They act as a storyteller and weave insights brought from our Athletes* into relevant product opportunities. They will leverage expertise of the Golf consumer and combine data insights to architect and deliver product needs and benefits. Translating Athlete* insights, communication, and inspiring teammates is key to success within this role. This candidate must be comfortable working directly with elite level athletes as well as consumers and retail partners to listen, learn and establish a strategic point of view for the marketplace.

American Football

As an authenticating space in our product line, you are committed to being deeply connected to the culture of sport, beyond the game. This candidate is tuned in to the football season, and through the off season they continue connection to athletes* in skills camps, 7on7, spring ball, and flag. They will match their passion for Football with a vision for the future of where the game is going. They will work hand in hand with Athletes* across the spectrum of football from our elite NFL Athletes to the future of our young athletes on the gridiron. This candidate will work to understand their needs from both a performance and style perspective and help translate those insights into product opportunities. They will bring their relationships and knowledge of the Football Consumer and pair that with an ability to think commercially and drive a healthy business strategy. This candidate must be comfortable working directly with elite level athletes as well as consumers and retail partners to listen, learn and establish a strategic point of view for the marketplace.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

An ideal Senior Product Manager is a collaborative teammate with a history of excellence, strong problem-solving skills, and phenomenal attention to detail. You will need strong organizational skills, a drive for crafting outstanding products and the ability to learn, adapt, and lead quickly.   • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, or training
  • A minimum of 3 years directly relevant work experience
  • Education or experience in Business, Retail Merchandising, Product Management or a related field
  • Demonstrates an authentic and passionate connection to the sport, it’s consumer, and athletes*
  • Influencing skills. Ability to drive vision and strategy across functions while respecting the balance of competing interests
  • Proven experience translating a footwear vision into a multi-year line plan.
  • Demonstrated line planning skills to meet financial and critical metric goals
  • Proven track-record of speaking, presenting and inspiring teammates
  • Solid understanding of Footwear construction and storytelling
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to motivate and mentor others

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

This role will lead all aspects of the product creation process from Brief to Box. This includes ensuring profitability while delivering fresh solutions to solve our consumers’ needs. 

  • You will work with the cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive the offense. 
  • You will collaborate with merchandising, design, development, and sourcing on the footwear creation process from line planning through final product approval. 
  • You will research our product, consumer, and marketplace, manage product creation workflow and data, maintain product tools, and effectively collaborate across functional partners. 
  • You will deliver on key dates and hold yourself accountable to be a great teammate.
  • You will act as the voice of the consumer and the athlete and bring relevant insights back to the team to ensure our product meets the needs of our athletes and consumer.  
  • You will be the trusted expert in the space of Golf and be relentless about bringing great product to the market. 
  • You will work closely with your product management cross-gender teammates and global merchandising, design, development, sourcing, and marketing teams to manage the product creation and advise our go-to-market processes.
