We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Flutter Engineer to be a core contributor to our cross-platform mobile strategy. This is a critical role to architect, design, and deliver a best-in-class mobile experience that empowers our global user base.
The mission of the Senior Flutter Engineer is to lead the development of performant, visually stunning, and highly maintainable mobile applications on both iOS and Android from a single codebase. You'll tackle complex technical challenges related to cross-platform architecture, performance optimization, and integration with our broader technology stack, driving mobile excellence across the organization.
⭐ How will you make an impact?
- Architect & Design: Lead the architectural design and implementation of new app modules using the Flutter framework, ensuring the codebase is scalable, robust, and reusable.
- Requirements & UX/UI Collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to translate high-level user stories and wireframes into clear technical requirements and build pixel-perfect, responsive UIs that offer a superior user experience.
- Performance Optimization: Proactively profile and optimize app performance, including rendering, startup times, and memory usage, to ensure a smooth experience on various devices.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Define and enforce a strong testing strategy (unit, widget, integration tests) and establish CI pipelines to maintain high code quality and prevent regressions.
- Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as a technical mentor, supporting the team, participating in design discussions, and conducting code reviews.
- Deployment & CI/CD: Take ownership of the automated build and deployment process, configuring CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions to streamline App Store and Play Store submissions.
- Maintenance & Security: Lead the maintenance lifecycle, managing feature updates, complex data migrations, and critical fixes, while integrating security and privacy best practices into all development.
⭐ What makes you a great fit?
- 5+ years of experience in mobile software development (Android and/or iOS), with a minimum of 2+ years dedicated to Flutter mobile development.
- Proven experience building, releasing, and maintaining production applications using Flutter/Dart.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Expertise in architecting complex Flutter codebases, including choosing and implementing appropriate state-management patterns (e.g., MVVM, Provider, BLoC).
- Strong knowledge of integrating with third-party libraries and APIs.
- You are an engineer who enjoys mentoring others, driving cross-functional collaboration, and leading design discussions.
- Excellent level of spoken and written English for effective international team communication.
- Experience with Flutter web development is a plus.
