Your crew during this flight:
Are you an experienced Flight Controls engineer who is looking for adventure, variety, and hands-on work? We Need You!
We are a fun, supportive team who enjoy our work together, and are on the front lines every day of getting our aircraft to certification. Every day is a new adventure, with new problems to investigate and help solve.
You will be providing technical and operational expertise in Flight Controls Systems, (FCS) for Ground and Flight tests of crewed and uncrewed configurations. Tests will usually be conducted locally, (Bruchsal/Lahr) but may involve campaigns at remote locations around Europe and the world from time to time.
You will also work closely with our Design Organization FCS teams to support our flight testing process, ensure required readiness for test, and to work on solving our technical issues enabling safe flight and proving compliance.
Your mission during this flight:
- Experience in planning, monitoring and analyzing digital fly-by-wire flight controls systems testing
- Supporting aircraft preparation, inspection, and testing in FCS
- Coordinating with FTI on data parameter planning and telemetry setup
- Assessment and documentation of testing
- Coordination of Aircraft On Ground (AOG) activities, as needed
- Provide technical judgement as a company-appointed CVE/DE
Qualifications
Check in your professional skills:
Required
- Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering or equivalent technical education
- 10+ years of experience as Engineer involved in aeronautical development and certification process
- Experience in planning, monitoring and analyzing Flight Controls systems testing
- Knowledge of the English language at a professional level
Bonus Experience
- Education or experience in rotorcraft flight testing
- Aircraft MRO experience
- Experience as an MRB/Liaison Engineer, or as a Flight Test Analysis Engineer
- Experience in multicopter Flight Controls
