Job Summary
International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. seeks Senior Flavorist, Re-Imagine Wellness in Union Beach, NJ, to serve as a technical expert in flavor creation techniques and provide meaningful input into Wellness initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Technology, Biochemistry, or a related field, and ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience must include: performing project management and commercialization of salt and umami molecules for food and beverage market; utilizing experience with modulation when tasting created flavors in applications; working as a savory flavorist developer; optimizing use and performance of umami tools; creating savory top notes; creating reaction flavors; creating EMC (Enzymatic cheese flavors). Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
