We are now looking for a passionate and skilled full-time Verification Engineer to join our Land Fixed Surveillance team in Arninge/Täby. You’ll be working with advanced infrared (IR) surveillance camera systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards before release. Your Key Responsibilities
As a Verification Engineer, you will play a key role in the system-level verification and validation of our IR surveillance camera platforms. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and documenting verification activities for both new product developments and modifications to existing systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Plan and coordinate verification activities for new products and modifications, including both internal and external testing.
- Take ownership of the test systems used for verification of IR surveillance cameras.
- Execute hands-on functional, environmental, and performance tests.
- Ensure all verification activities are properly documented, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and traceability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of verification processes and tools.
What We’re Looking For
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Systems, or similar).
- Experience in system-level testing of complex hardware/software products.
- Strong understanding of verification methodologies, test planning, and documentation.
- Hands-on experience with environmental testing (e.g., temperature, vibration, EMC) and functional testing of embedded systems.
- Ability to execute tests independently and troubleshoot issues across hardware and software layers.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken) and teamwork abilities.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing to shared goals.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and proactive mindset.
Additional Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Experience coordinating external testing with third-party labs or partners.
- Knowledge in programming and scripting (e.g., Python, C/C++).
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as MIL-STD-810, EMC, CE/FCC compliance is a plus.
