Senior Financial Viability Analyst

What you'll do:

As a Senior Financial Viability Analyst, you will analyze financial data and create reports to assess the financial health of companies bidding on contracts. You'll also guide junior team members, review their work, and manage large report batches requested by customers. 

Your key tasks include:

• Gathering financial information from companies and other sources.

• Analyzing financial statements and assigning score / ratings.

• Writing detailed reports with recommendations.

• Checking references to assess a company's reliability.

• Meeting customer deadlines and handling large workloads.

• Providing advice to customers and sales team.

• Ensuring report quality and meeting performance goals.

• Communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

• Reviewing  work of other team members and providing a second opinion, as required.

• Staff supervision & mentoring a few team members, as required.

What experience you need 

• 3-5 yrs of experience in a similar role

• Strong financial numeracy and literacy, with deep understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis

• Experience in Credit analysis and risk management with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, concise, and professional reports. Experience in editing and reviewing reports is also essential

• Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Mentoring and coaching, with the ability to influence others

• Handling sensitive information with confidentiality

What could set you apart

• Local professional experience - understanding of economic and industry trends

• Underwriting experience in a financial services / banking environment / Insurance industry

• Bachelors in Business and / or Finance related discipline, however a CPA, CFA or CA is preferred
