Job Title: Senior Financial Systems Architect
Location: Cambridge/ London / Madrid
Employment Type: Permanent, full time
The job
We are seeking a highly skilled and seasoned Senior Financial Systems Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as an Oracle Solutions Architect and a strong desire to expand their expertise to include other financial systems. This role offers the opportunity to manage and enhance a variety of financial tools and systems, driving innovation and efficiency within our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the requirements gathering, design, implementation, and management of financial systems, with a primary focus on Oracle.
- Develop and maintain system architecture documentation and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial systems with other business applications.
- Work with integration and data teams in documenting integration, conversion requirements and designs
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in financial systems and technology.
- Manage the overall application security and work closely with managed service partners.
- Implement and manage role and access-based security within Oracle Fusion, SAP and Zuora.
- Monitor license usage for Oracle Fusion and manage access requests and environment refreshes.
- Work with Audit and Controls teams to implement role access policy and manage any access audits.
- Manage the change board and the changes going into Production ensuring compliance with release processes.
- Manage the period end processes and system scheduling for Oracle and Zuora.
Essential Requirements:
- Approximately 10 years or more of experience with at least 5 years as a solutions architect with Oracle.
- Demonstrable experience in implementing role and access security within Oracle Fusion.
- Exposure to other financial systems, tax engines, and related technologies.
- Experience with revenue recognition and billing applications would be advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with global/multi-country implementations.
- Knowledge of BI and report security, SSO implementation, and Oracle instance management.
- Knowledge in license management.
- Accounting qualification or good knowledge of accounting concepts is desirable
- Knowledge of Mulesoft (integration tools)
