As a Senior Financial Systems Analyst, you'll take an active role in financial planning, budgeting and strategic analysis. You'll provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and help guide decision making.Oracle EPM / EPBCS Administration- Support the administration and maintenance of Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including EPBCS planning and reporting environments.
- Maintain and validate metadata, dimensions, hierarchies, forms, dashboards, reports, and business rules.
- Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot monthly, quarterly, and annual planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Assist with testing Oracle EPM monthly updates, enhancements, patches, and configuration changes.
- Partner with Finance leadership and IT to support application security, access reviews, change management, and system governance.
- Load, validate, reconcile, and certify financial and operational data in EPBCS for actuals, forecasts, budgets, and management reporting.
- Support data integrations and recurring data feeds from Accounting, Treasury, ALM, HR, data warehouse, and other source systems.
- Investigate data quality issues and reconcile differences between source systems, EPBCS, Smart View reports, and downstream reporting outputs.
- Document key data flows, dependencies, control points, and recurring monthly processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual data preparation, validation, and reporting activities.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Oracle Smart View templates, reports, templates, ad hoc retrievals, and recurring analysis workbooks.
- Train and support FP&A, Accounting, and business users on Smart View functionality, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot Smart View connection, retrieval, submission, formatting, and data refresh issues.
- Create clear documentation, user guides, standard operating procedures, and training materials for recurring financial systems processes.
- Support monthly forecast, annual budget, long-range planning, variance analysis, and executive reporting cycles.
- Partner with FP&A teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
- Assist with financial data analysis, trend analysis, and recurring management reporting packages.
- Support close and forecasting deadlines by coordinating data readiness, resolving system issues, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Support SOX, audit, access management, data governance, and documentation requirements for financial systems processes.
- Maintain process documentation and evidence for recurring close, forecast, budget, and reporting activities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, data accuracy, transparency, and user adoption.
- Collaborate with IT, Oracle Support, vendors, and business partners to resolve system issues and improve finance technology capabilities.
What you'll need:
- 3+ years of related experience in Financial Analysis, Accounting, Finance (GL Mgmt., Public Reporting, Analysis) or similar field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field required; Masters or MBA in related field preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables, SUMPRODUCT, INDEX/MATCH, etc.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of financial planning and analysis concepts, financial reporting and disclosure concepts. Presentation of information and reports.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Chartered Financial Analysts preferred.
