Who we are looking for:
The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across multiple business entities within our digital and manufacturing marketing sectors. This role is crucial for both internal and external reporting, financial covenant compliance, and supporting tax accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, digital marketing processes, inventory management, audit and controls compliance, and 401(k) compliance, supported by strong accounting expertise.
What you will be doing:
 

  • Manage and execute financial consolidations for multiple business entities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and GAAP
  • Maintain strict adherence to all relevant accounting standards and company policies
  • Deliver detailed variance analysis and clear explanations of consolidated financial results
  • Support and coordinate all audits, including external, 401(k), insurance, and financial statement audits, ensuring a seamless process with thorough and accurate documentation
  • Monitor and prepare financial covenant compliance reports as required by lenders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Review reconciliations and maintaining precise financial records
  • Assist with the preparation of tax provisions and supporting tax compliance efforts
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of all filings
  • Focus on identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.
  • Stay current on accounting standards and industry best practices, with the ability to provide valuable recommendations for company adoption.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and marketing, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster their professional growth


Who you are:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and consolidations.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or marketing industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Exception communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the omnichannel marketing industry preferred.
  • Demonstrate experience with US GAAP, policy, and standard compliance preferred.
  • Working knowledge of tax accounting preferred.
