Job Summary
The Sr. Financial Reporting Accountant will play a key role in the preparation, validation, and delivery of monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting. This role will primarily leverage Workiva Wdesk, Workday, and OfficeConnect to support accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working with financial systems and large data sets. In addition to core reporting responsibilities, this position will be cross-trained with a Financial Systems Analyst to provide backup coverage for critical recurring processes, including select Workday and FloQast monthly activities.
Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Data Management
Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
Roll forward financial reporting presentations and schedules, ensuring proper tie-outs and consistency across periods
Load, validate, and reconcile general ledger source data retrieved via OfficeConnect into Workiva Wdesk
Perform data validation procedures to confirm alignment between source systems, Workiva outputs, and reporting presentations
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and Financial Systems teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Accounting and FP&A teams to validate financial data, assumptions, and results
Communicate clearly with stakeholders regarding data questions, timing, and required follow-ups
Support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting workflows
Systems & Process Support
Serve as backup support for a Financial Systems Analyst, including select recurring Workday and FloQast monthly processes
Requirements
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on financial reporting
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across both business and technical roles
Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage multiple projects with shifting priorities while meeting deadlines and producing meaningful deliverables
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
1-4 years of experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, or a related role
Knowledgeable in preparing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and core accounting principles
Strong attention to detail with ability to meet recurring deadlines
Experience with Workiva Wdesk, Workday Financials modules, OfficeConnect, and/or FloQast preferred
CPA, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification helpful but not required

Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $137,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
