As a Senior Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst you will serve as a member of the America’s Finance team responsible for delivering financial management services to one or more of Telix Brands and its leadership team. This role will be accountable for supporting and partnering with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, Accounting and other FP&A teams to deliver a comprehensive understanding and analysis of your assigned brand(s). Areas of responsibility include budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, valuation support for both new and existing products and other ad-hoc requests that lead to insightful and actionable decision making.
Key Accountabilities:
- Assume ownership of budgeting, forecasting and analysis activities, including annual budgeting, quarterly reforecast, monthly forecasting for revenue, headcount and operating expenses for respective brand(s).
- Prepare financial models supporting the company’s budget and medium to long-range strategic planning process.
- Review and report on sales, billings, and revenue streams, documenting variances in assumptions, trends, and utilizing recent information to frame future forecast.
- Prepare financial models, business narratives and presentations which at times will be presented by the incumbent and other times submitted by the incumbent to the company’s senior executive team.
- Analyze and interpret financial data/performance to help identify ways to increase effectiveness, find expense savings, and improve asset utilization.
- Understand key financial and operational drivers of performance. Tracks, analyzes and reports management information that is predictive and actionable.
- Review of month end close for operating results of the businesses, through EBITDA, analyzing results to current estimate, budget and historical results. Provide relevant documentation of variances through monthly business review process.
- Prepare, seek appropriate input and distribute the timely revenue flash, and periodic current estimates businesses.
- Support deployment of appropriate tools for use in forecasting and operational management of results.
- Provide financial modeling, financial analysis and valuation support for new and existing product development, long-term contracts and other ad-hoc financial projects.
- Provide financial business partnering support to Brand Management teams to enable the execution of strategic and business plans.
- Discuss with Brand Management financial health, assist in tracking and measuring KPI’s and be a conduit from the business to the rest of the finance team.
- Assist in integrations of new acquisitions.
- Partner with various teams to help drive SOX compliance.
- Develop and maintain strategic business partnership with the appropriate employees throughout Telix.
- In partnership with Management, conduct monthly performance reviews, assist group with variance commentary, and partner with accounting teams locally, regionally, and globally.
- Assist management in measuring its performance against strategic and operational goals.
- Ability to conduct deep dive analysis & link all the pieces together to understand upstream and downstream impacts including ad-hoc reporting with business analytics team.
- Identifies and communicates potential risks to CFO-Americas and Brand leads for further analysis, observation and/or remediation.
- Provides financial management input on business needs to Finance workflow and system improvement projects as appropriate, including improvements to operational reporting, revenue recognition, cash management and purchasing.
- Support alignment of global processes, policies and metrics.
- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
- All other duties as assigned, which may change from time to time to meet business needs.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related major requied, Master’s degree and/or CFA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5-7 years of progressive finance experience including financial modeling and financial planning & analysis, with high growth companies that have reached at least $50M in annual revenues or startup companies.
- Experience with international accounting standards or working in a global organization preferred.
- Strong proficiency in SAP or other accounting software programs.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
- Demonstrated involvement in mergers and acquisitions with an understanding of closing/purchase price accounting transactions.
