ISS STOXX is looking for a Senior Financial Planning and Accounting Analyst to join our Mumbai team .
Overview:
ISS STOXX 'Business Operations team partners closely with business leadership and teams across finance to lead business analysis, lead forecasting and planning, make informed decisions, and communicate effectively with business leaders and the Board of Directors.We are looking for a fast learner, proactive, and hands-on contributor to participate in strategic discussions with the CFO, CEO, and senior business management. If you are a dynamic and motivated professional who is interested in gaining exposure to the different parts of ISS’ business and working with a global team, then this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
- Management Reporting – Preparing weekly, monthly, and annual internal financial reports for presentation to Senior Management. Focus of this role will be on working closely with the Business heads to help in long term planning and decision making while analyzing financial data.
- Financial Reporting – Assisting in the preparation of external financial reporting and analysis for both the company owners as well as debt holders,
- Maintaining and enhancing budgeting and forecasting models to create business projections.
- Assist with due diligence analysis on potential acquisition targets.
- Preparing ad hoc financial analyses requested by Senior Management
Qualifications:
- Good analytical and data modeling skills; ability to challenge the numbers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate financial metrics and analytics to business management who are in different time zones around the globe.
- Extremely organized, detail oriented, proactive, and hardworking; a roll up your sleeves attitude.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Ability to work flexible hours depending on the needs of business.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Knowledge of NetSuite and SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of CRM systems (ie, Salesforce), NetSuite, and SAP are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
