Job Description
The purpose of this job is to structure funding packages to enable financing of the Saudi Nuclear Power Project (NPP), This includes supporting DNEC:
(a) Commercial aspects of the Nuclear Project.
(b) Support and securing Export Credit Agency (ECA) and debt financing for the project.
(c) Participate in other financial agreements related to the project such as’ equity subscription agreement, shareholder agreement, Debt Financing agreement, and Power purchase agreement (PPA).
In addition, the expert will review financing options, economic evaluation, cost optimization and financial model.
The expert will provide all assistance required regarding the project with stakeholders such as’ Ministry of Finance, and key National Gov Funds.
Technical Duties:
• Support the development of the NPP funding strategy and financing mechanism/model.
• Review Power Purchase Agreement and provide insight on the structure of the agreement.
• Conduct research on technical, operational, and economic factors in order to identify impact on the success of investment and present findings to relevant stakeholders.
• Evaluating the financial risks associated with NPP.
• Evaluate the funding structure for the nuclear project and provide feedback about the optimal structure.
• Conduct scenario and sensitivity analysis with the intent to support investment activities and decision.
• Develop the business model for the NPP.
• Compose variable deal structures to propose several options to different potential investors and achieve better outcomes such as Joint Ventures and SPV’s.
• Support the negotiations with investors and stakeholders and ensure DNEC interest been met.
• Support development of financing approach and relevant project agreements.
• structure possible deals and funding packages to enable the financing of the Saudi Nuclear Power Project.
• Participate in securing Export Credit Agency (ECA) and debt financing for the project.

Qualifications
▪ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or any related field.
Preferred: Master Degree of Business Administration (MBA) / Finance.
Experience:
▪ 14 years of experience in financing/ Investment related to Energy projects.
Preferred:
▪ Experience working in investment banking/ financial institution/Project finance/consultancy.
▪ JVs partnership knowledge.
▪ Experience in funding nuclear power plant projects.
Certifications:
CFA is a plus.
