- Reporting to the Director, Pricing and Analytics you will develop complex reporting to require integration of data from different sources that address our needs. You will implement recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analysis. You will work with the team leader and senior level partners across merchandising, merchandise planning, marketing, finance, operations, and data science to understand their requirements and analyze business information to provide insights. You will provide expertise and research to shape business strategies for QVC and HSN.
Where You'll Work
- This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA office several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company). Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: NJ, PA, DE. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You'll Do
- Analysis of data and providing thoughtful commentary to help report users understand the value of the reported results
- Perform analysis and that lets data and findings determine final conclusions
- Provide feedback and subsequent recommendations to Management relative to the analysis.
- Build queries, data collection and data validation to be used by our Business Clients
- Understand our priorities and create automated reporting to support those needs
- Build efficient queries for data using SQL and SQL-related tools to gather data from relational databases
- Establish integrated and efficient reporting processes, tools, and metrics
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience
- 3+ years reporting and analytical experience within a Merchandising/Retail environment
- 3+ years experience with financial data analysis
- Advanced skills with BI tools (MicroStrategy) and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- 3+ years experience writing SQL (oracle, Teradata, Netezza, etc.)
- 3+ years experience with data storytelling
