Job SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst will be key Business Partner to various stakeholders within the company responsible for preparing financial analyses, maintaining current financial reports, and providing context and insight into the data. Develop methodologies to determine the effectiveness of initiatives on Wholesale partners and Expenses with a focus on G&A Expenses. Analyze and report on historical, current and future trends in performance. Prepare reports for executive review.Job Responsibilities
- Business partner to Wholesale, B2B and Overheads (HR, IT, finance)
- Expense control, reporting, and analysis
- Identify Risks and Opportunities within the business and provide Actionable analysis
- Monitor and control Wholesale business in collaboration with CCO and Wholesale directors:
- Monitor closely weekly and monthly sell-in sales by wholesale partner vs forecasts and previous year
- Pilot Gross to Net Sales and Gross Margin by wholesale partner: participate in kits approval process with Marketing, ensure profitable product mix, follow level of deductions and promotions
- Work on adhoc analysis with the teams on P&L impacts for new wholesale operations, new doors, new businesses
- Participate in monthly accounting close process:
- Liaise with Accounting and provide accruals of incurred expenses not yet invoiced per Accounting rules
- Review monthly and YTD P&Ls and address variances to Budget/Forecast and LY with an extensive GL research for accuracy
- Generate reporting and hold month end meetings with key stakeholders to review results, address variances and suggest actions
- Financial Controls for Purchase Requisition process:
- Approve Purchase Requisitions for relevant departments and thresholds and ensure accuracy vs. Budget/Forecast
- Provide guidance on Expense coding and amount allocation as it relates to Accounting Rules
- Assist in the annual P&L Budget and quarterly Forecast Preparation/Development
- Create and distribute weekly and monthly reports to various levels of management
- Go to for Reporting and Analysis development on Financial Reporting tool TM1 and Power BI
- All other duties or projects as assigned
- Key contributor to Top-line and Bottom-line company results
- BS in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field
- 3-5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and modeling
- Retail/Wholesale experience
- Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Power BI and Other MS applications
- SAP or other comparable ERP system exposure, TM1

The compensation for this role is $90,000 (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NYC).
