JOB DESCRIPTION
Location: Puebla, Mexico
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support financial performance and profitability at our manufacturing operation in Puebla. This role partners closely with plant and regional leadership to drive cost visibility, product profitability, and informed decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Support plant finance activities including accounting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Track, analyze, and report product and program profitability, including margin analysis and cost drivers.
- Prepare and present financial and profitability reports for plant and regional management.
- Support P&L management, cost improvement initiatives, and operational decision‑making.
- Lead and support the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements.
- Prepare financial analyses for capital expenditure and investment requests.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) to support performance improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA/CPA a plus).
- 5+ years of finance experience; manufacturing or automotive preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and profitability analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience (SAP, QAD, HFM) preferred.
- High level of English proficiency
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to present to senior stakeholders.
