About the Team:

The B2B Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) group is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to help develop, communicate and monitor departmental budgets and forecasts.

About the Role

You will directly support and forecast sales and revenue for 3 B2B business units. You will also aid business partners in assessing the financial impact of their recommendations/decisions by regularly developing, analyzing and presenting business case models. You will be based in our NYC office reporting to the Senior Director, FP&A.

You Will:

  • Work closely with business partners to review and prepare budgets and forecasts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to review, analyze, and prepare sales and revenue forecasts.
  • Create sales and revenue reports that accurately present variances and business drivers.
  • Build business case models to evaluate the financial impact of decisions.
  • Create and maintain routine reporting of financial performance.
  • Create variance and trending analyses which monitor performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Work on month-end close and reporting.
  • Identify and address procedural problems/deficiencies impacting integrity and timeliness of financial information.
  • Assist in KPI (key performance indicator) collection and reporting.
  • Additional ad-hoc requests as deemed necessary by the business or financial needs.
  • Work closely and collaborate with your other FP&A colleagues to share best practice as well as provide cover across the team.
  • Be required to work on projects on an as-needed basis.

You Have:

  • Strong accounting and analytical skills; Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred.
  • Relevant Commercial Finance experience of 3-5 years.
  • High degree of proficiency in PC skills including experience with financial applications and reporting tools, specifically Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) and Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
  • Planning and organizational skills including effective time management and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated initiative and drive and work well under pressure including being a team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience maintaining accounting records and preparation of financial reports.
  • Ability to recognize problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions and define/suggest resolutions.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with diverse groups of business partners.
  • Strong eye for detail and detail oriented work practices.
  • SAP and TM1 financial systems experience (highly preferred).
  • Strong initiative, good communication skills, and team player attributes.

Pay Range: $90,000 - $110,000
