Job Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group and will primarily be responsible for the management and administration of the Company’s IBM Planning Analytics system (Cognos / TM1), as well as evaluating large amounts of data and providing insights into business performance and trends. The position will also create ad-hoc financial analyses, work directly with external auditors, and prepare materials for Senior Management and across field and corporate support teams.
Responsibilities:
Administer the Company’s IBM Planning Analytics system, including but not limited to: managing user access; maintaining and updating database models; creating new models and reports based on requests from Senior Management; ensuring data integrity, security and compliance with organizational policies; creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system configurations and best practices; providing training and support to company users.
Track relevant financial and operational metrics to calculate bonus plan achievements for field management to support bonus accrual and payout.
Assist in annual preparation of income statement and inventory planning for sales centers.
Work in a team-based setting to provide financial and operational value-add reports for utilization by executive and field management.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer science or Data Analytics.
2+ years of Public Accounting or FP&A experience, CPA preferred.
Experience with IBM Planning Analytics, preferably 5+ years.
Advanced knowledge of Excel, data query and reporting tools.
Excellent analytical, technical accounting and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Microsoft Power BI, optional.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments in a fast paced, deadline-driven work environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
