About the role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join Roku’s Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. In this role, you will be a key player in enhancing automated reporting and consolidating financial data to generate actionable business insights. Your contributions will help inform strategic decisions by making complex financial information more accessible and relevant. This role offers high visibility and collaboration with senior leadership and decision makers across the company. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and financial modeling skills, exceptional thoroughness, and the ability to navigate fast-paced, high-growth environment. More importantly, we are seeking someone with natural curiosity to solve complex problems and drive continuous improvement with diligent attention to details.
For California Only - The estimated annual salary for this position is between $145,000 and $153,000 annually. Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location. This role is eligible for health insurance, equity awards, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.
What you’ll be doing
- Lead the consolidated P&L reporting and analysis
- Identify and implement efficiencies to enhance financial and operational reporting
- Develop and leverage financial models to generate insights that support internal teams in making well-informed business decisions
- Work with multiple data sources to extract and analyze company and market data for financial and business analytics
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify trends and conduct deep-dive analyses when needed
- Support decision-making and strategic planning at various business levels through in-depth financial analysis
- Take ownership of ad hoc analyses and special projects as needed
We’re excited if you have
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar quantitative discipline
- 3+ years of FP&A experience, ideally in a high-growth media, technology or software services company
- Proven ability to excel in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and complex formulas
- Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for senior executives
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to multitask in a dynamic corporate setting
- Deep understanding of financial planning, forecasting and reporting processes
- Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute wherever needed
- Exceptional accuracy and organizational skills
- Experience with Anaplan preferred
