Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Type: Contract & Hybrid
Responsibility:
- Provide Financial support and guidance to the Finance Leads and the Marketing teams
- Manage the A&P budget file in totality including planned and actual spending and ensure expenses are classified in accordance to the client's Finance Norms
- Responsibility for monthly closing journal entries, actual reporting and analysis
- Monthly closing of the COMPASS Cost Module and Monthly COMPASS Officializations
- Responsibility for A&P & SG&A budget and trend creation and maintenance in Compass
- Inform Financial Controller of risks & opportunities identified through budget management and ongoing meetings with business partners
- Ad hoc analysis to evaluate spend and enable management to make sound business decisions
- Ad hoc projects to improve controls / reporting
- Monthly Analysis of Worldwide Net Sales
- Aid in the Monthly Consolidation of AFP Finished Goods and Samples Margin Summary & PIG Reporting
- Partner with Supply Chain and Operations Finance Teams for proper maintenance of the Product Hierarchy and accurate reporting of PVIS
- Aid in the Budget / Trend Build of AFP Transfer Pricing
- Monthly Margin checks through analysis of the Internal, Triflow, and Export Business Models
- New Product Launch Finance Liaison between Marketing and Operations Teams
- Provide commentary on a monthly basis and during Budget / Trend builds for the Brands Gross Margin Analysis
- Partner with the Industrial Development Team to ensure spending levels fall within Budgeted / Trended approved amounts (Liaison with the French Team for their Industrial Development requirements).
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required
- 2 - 5 years of experience in finance preferred (MBA/CPA a plus)
- Strong computer skills required (Excel a must)
- SAP or TM1/Cognos a plus
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA/CPA a plus
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
