Exabeam is looking for a strong Sr. Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team. In this role, you will report to the Manager of Finance (dotted line to VP) and work directly with FP&A and management to create budgets and forecasts, prepare management and board reporting packages, work with budget owners to help manage spending against plan, as well as analyze business trends.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with FP&A and management/budget owners to create budgets and forecasts and track performance against plan
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages
  • Manage headcount and open req tracking between FP&A and HR
  • Participate and/or lead monthly BvA process, including communicating with budget owners, analyzing OPEX trends, and updating projections
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Ensure data is accurate and consistently maintained in planning tool
  • Analyze key business trends and report findings to management
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
  • Participate and/or lead system improvement projects
  • Identify and help drive expense reductions and revenue enhancements


Requirements:

  • BS or BA in Finance or Accounting
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience in FP&A or similar analytical role
  • Must have Adaptive Planning experience (w/ OfficeConnect a plus)
  • Very strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work closely with budget owners and management team
  • Strong understanding of accounting, software experience a plus
  • Systems savvy, NetSuite and SalesForce experience
  • Insightful, with a keen ability to synthesize raw data into actionable findings
  • Strong interest in finance and a desire to further your financial career
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Self-directed, with the ability to operate under limited supervision

Salary:
The annual starting salary for this position is between $85,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
