Position Summary

This position supports the Beer organization.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with Monthly P&L and Cash Flow reporting which involves consolidating, interpreting, and explaining actual variances vs. Forecast, Plan, and Prior Year. 
  • Assists in the monthly forecast process which includes consolidating the Forecast, assessing risk and opportunities, loading data, managing expectations, and interpreting variances for Management presentations.
  • Price/volume/mix analysis which requires the ability to problem solve, tackle large data sets, and distill results in a manner that is actionable and informative to Management
  • Monitors results during monthly close.
  • Activities involve collaboration and partnership with Demand Planning, Pricing, Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, and Accounting teams
  • Participation in the annual plan process of Beer Division delivering +$8B in Sales and +$3B in Operating Profit.
  • This role involves adhering to very tight timelines, partnering with key stakeholders and departments, rationalizing and challenging results, utilizing strong analytical skills, and having access to sensitive information.
  • Position requires performing detailed analysis including template building, file maintenance, mapping validations, and variance analysis.
  • Adhoc analysis as required by Senior Director of FP&A, Vice President of FP&A, Senior Beer Management, and Constellation Corporate Management

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 4-year college degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or Accounting (Accounting background preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of products particularly Power point, Excel, Access
  • Knowledge of beverage alcohol industry preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Must have strong analytical skills and capability to work well within a team concept. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must with occasional presentations to Leadership.
  • Experience with excel add-in tools (Analysis for Office, SAP Analytics Cloud, Smartview, Onestream, etc) preferred.
  • SAP/Onestream Software Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be capable of developing strong and productive relationships with various personnel.
  • Must be detail-oriented, analytical, conscientious, and industrious, with the ability to handle changing priorities and tight timeframes.
  • Requires ability to problem solve and understand complex concepts.
  • Strong financial skills including familiarity with profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  • Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time
  • Primary work environment is a professional corporate office

The salary range for this role is:

$78,800.00 - $118,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
