As a Sr. Financial Analyst on the Corporate Financial Planning and Analysis team you will be instrumental in completing and delivering value added analysis, providing insights that create value. You will be a key analyst supporting the Sales & Com Ops FP&A Manager. This is an important development role providing exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to gain experience to progress your career at Flowserve. Candidate must be analytically driven, able to understand the business implications of projects and KPIs and demonstrate a relentless focus on creating insight and actionable information to improve business results.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Initiate, complete and deliver business analysis, providing effective and timely financial analysis with thoughtful insight focused on improving results
- Drive the monthly and quarterly Bookings reporting for VPs and Directors
- Ensure divisions are aligned to clear targets
- Identify and clearly articulate risks and opportunities
- Perform, analyze and distribute KPI reporting versus targets
- Perform ad hoc analyses supporting the Sales & Com Ops FP&A Manager and other Corporate FP&A Managers as needed
- Support KPI dashboards for Sales, Commercial Operations, and Finance
- Perform analytical review of targeted current pricing as needed
- Prepare quarterly analysis of Sales and Commercial Operations and identify risks and opportunities
- Set up product-level analysis
Required Experience/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree (Accounting or Finance) or MBA
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Advanced Excel (e.g.: pivot tables, power pivot, power query)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience developing persuasive and effective presentations and recommendations leading to improving business results
- Ability to efficiently deliver timely and accurate information
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person with key stakeholders in headquarters and global regions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Desire and capability to progress throughout the financial team
- Experience working for multi-national company
- Experience in operational finance
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Self-service data analytics (Power BI or similar)
- Salesforce or similar CRM
- BPC or similar consolidation tools
