The primary role of Supply Chain Finance team is to partner with the Supply Chain team to help drive end-to-end forecasting, reporting, analysis, and business support for key strategic decisions. In this dynamic position, you will lead and develop a team of analysts and collaborate extensively across the Supply Chain Finance team. You will be responsible for supporting the broader Supply Chain finance team with forecasts, analytic data, cost accounting and insights ensuring financial accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyse financial data, identify key performance indicators, and provide strategic insights to optimize performance. Your analytical skills and financial acumen will contribute to the achievement of our financial goals and the overall success of our global operations.
Team Leader
- Lead and develop a team of analysts.
- Prioritise work with team and broader Supply Chain Finance team.
Financial Planning and Analysis:
- Support the preparation and consolidation of annual plan and quarterly rolling forecasts.
- Work closely with local Finance Business partners on our team to ensure consistent and robust reporting and information exchanged and captured in the forecast.
- Provide guidance and support in variance analysis.
- Manage periodic requirements of costing activities including an update of standard costs.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports to track performance against targets.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics. Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Provide actionable insights to management for strategic decision-making.
- Analyse costs and expenses across various departments and functions.
- Identify areas for cost optimization, process improvements, and efficiency gains. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making related to operations, such as capacity planning, capital investments, and cost projections. Evaluate financial viability of proposed initiatives and provide insightful analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive process improvements within the Supply Chain finance function, including enhancements to reporting, analysis tools, and data integrity. Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
Ad hoc Analysis:
- Conduct ad hoc financially analysis and support projects as required.
- Provide financial insights and support to Supply Chain leadership in evaluating business initiatives and assessing their financial impact.
Let's talk about you:
Essential:
- Degree – qualified in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Data Science
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience ideally in financial planning, analysis
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Financial modelling skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and lead change initiatives.
- Flexible, curious and innovative mindset. Comfortable to challenge the status quo and manage ambiguity.
Desirable:
- Experience in TM1, Anaplan, Tableau, SQL, Python.
