<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>AXS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will assist with Financial planning and budget processes, analyze Profit &amp; Loss, develop financial models, assist with the monthly forecast, and perform analysis as needed. You will also provide guidance and assist with the monthly close.&nbsp; A firm grasp of financial planning and analysis is essential for this position.</p>

<p><strong>What Will You Do?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Conduct complex financial analysis that identify trends and recommendations to help informed decision-making</li>
<li>Assist business leaders to develop their annual budgets and create monthly forecast</li>
<li>Support department leads to strategize and oversee their Profit and Loss (P&amp;L) activities through collaboration</li>
<li>Analyze historical data and incorporate industry trends to predict future revenues and/or expenses</li>
<li>Evaluate data to help identify financial trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement</li>
<li>Review and analyze comprehensive financial reports for management, encompassing financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs), and thorough budget variance analysis</li>
<li>Assist the Sr. Director, FP&amp;A in offering financial insights and analysis to support development of company's long term growth</li>
<li>Prepare and provide variance explanations and analysis for monthly management P&amp;L review meetings, opportunity to present as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to ensure a precise and accurate monthly close</li>
<li>Act as a resource for departments on transactional inquiries and financial/budget questions that require problem solving and analytics</li>
<li>Update and publish presentations for Financial Review/Budget meetings</li>
<li>Ensure financial compliance of policy and procedures as it relates to Invoice/Concur approvals and manage expectations with business unit leads accordingly</li>

<p><strong>What Will You Bring?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>4- 6 years of related work experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and/or accounting</li>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business related field (Accounting or Finance)</li>
<li>Experience with Planning solution, Oracle (JD Edwards), OneStream and/ or Hubble</li>
<li>Experience with financial systems and ability to work with large amounts of data</li>
<li>Working knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, financial modeling and accounting principles</li>
<li>Advanced Excel, Modeling, and PowerPoint skills and ability to learn required business systems</li>
<li>Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills with great attention to detail</li>
<li>Able to work independently and complete duties and projects under minimal direct supervision</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Available to work seasonal overtime to support the business needs</li>
