Who You Are:

You have a strong analytical mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. You possess advanced quantitative skills, including proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools. Your Role:

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the financial health of Veta Virtual. You will:

• Financial Accuracy: Review all financial transactions, including sales, internal spending, receipts, and vendor payments weekly to ensure data accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• KPI Analysis: Prepare various financial reports and analyze KPIs, including ad hoc reports following the company’s requirements.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement new software and tools to improve bookkeeping processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency.
• Payroll Management: Review and run monthly payroll for internal teams and contractors.
• Accounts Receivable: Process monthly Accounts Receivables using Stripe, tracking credits and deductions for each client account.

What We're Looking For:

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• More than 4 years of experience in the Accounting and/or FP&A department or a similar position
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Excel
• The ability to work independently, self-manage, manage multiple concurrent operational tasks (ie. billing and payroll), and run new projects (such as project managing the upgrade to these systems)
• Strong analytical skills, and a background or experience in data science are preferred
• Fluent written and verbal English skills
• CPA designation is preferred
• Experience working with Xero is preferred
• Experience working in a startup is preferred
