Position Overview

The Senior Financial Analyst position is a dynamic role within a fast-moving organization and environment. This individual will be a key member of the team responsible for providing timely and accurate financial data to all levels of management, analysis and insight on various topics, and ensuring a sound internal control environment. This role will also aide in the purchase price allocation and post-close accounting of acquisitions. This position requires an experienced, strategic, and technical self-starter with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, projects, and changing priorities.

Essential Job Functions

  • Assist the accounting team in the monthly close process and the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Prepare and review journal entries across all business segments
  • Prepare reconciliations of critical balance sheet accounts at appropriate time intervals
  • Assist the accounting integration of M&A activity including the purchase price allocation, the working capital true-up process, and working directly with former owners
  • Review and resolve general accounting matters and requests from the field.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial and business analyses
  • Focus on using technology to automate and add efficiency to current processes and reporting
  • Assist in the development and oversight of policies and procedures that aligns with the Company's internal control environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • High emotional intelligence and business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High Proficiency in Excel
  • Personable, Organized, & Detail-Focused
  • Team Player
  • Adaptable to explosive growth
