Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is looking for a highly detailed Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. In this role, you will develop, interpret and implement complex financial and accounting concepts or techniques to support financial planning and control. Provides financial business development, analytical services and recommendations that influence sound business decisions, enable delivery of business objectives and guide long-term business planning choices within assigned IHA sites, divisions or at the organizational level.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a strategic finance partner to operational and executive leaders, providing financial guidance that supports business strategy, decision-making, and organizational objectives.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis to evaluate results, identify trends, and support long-term business planning.
- Manage and support monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct complex financial, operational, and data analyses using advanced reporting and data-mining tools to identify opportunities, risks, and performance improvement strategies.
- Develop recommendations and business cases based on financial research and analysis, supporting policy development, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives.
- Interpret and apply financial policies, accounting principles, governmental regulations, and compliance requirements to support sound financial management and business development.
General Requirements:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s Degree is preferred.
CREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: CPA is preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years’ financial analysis experience. Experience in a healthcare organization is preferred.
