Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will perform complex and interpretive financial analyses for assigned area. Present recommendations to management. Act as a leader to less experienced staff. Help construct the AOP, quarterly forecasts, and period close deliverables.

A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner and work collaboratively on accounting and finance related questions regarding expenses between Gross and Net Sales. This will involve the ability to assess business needs and resolve risks.
  • Participate in the preparation and compilation of the annual operating plan (AOP) for expenses between Gross and Net Sales on the P&L and related balance sheet accounts.
  • Update the quarterly forecast for assigned department based on business changes. Communicate changes to partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary and guidance on potential risk.
  • Contribute to month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues promptly.
  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests depending on the assigned department (product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, pricing).
  • Lead the development of metrics, scorecards and reporting for assigned function.
  • Participate and/or lead various finance wide-projects that will vary depending on business needs.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
  • 5+ years of professional general business and financial experience
  • Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
  • Experience working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.

Compensation 

Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
