As Senior Financial Analyst, you will be reporting to the Head of Finance and Controlling, Enabling Functions & Chairman.

You are expected to engage with the Finance Vision, Mission and Commitment and ensure delivery on the key Controlling activities, in alignment with the group policies and financial objectives.  

You will be working with dedicated Finance teams and relevant stakeholders to anticipate, identify and support business objectives by analyzing, planning and executing the management control system. In addition, you will be responsible for the delivery of standard reports and ensuring their availability to relevant partners to support the business decision making.  

 In this role you will get involved and take ownership in important and impactful projects. It’s expected that you monitor, identify potential gaps, risks and opportunities related with the financial aspects.  

 

Your day at Ferring

  • Prepare month-end close financial exercise by ensuring Opex and and Full Time Equivalents.are properly recognized each month. Follow-up and communicate requirements to relevant stakeholders.

  • Provide cost center administration support to the leadership team and to the global controlling team.  Review and report cost center actuals Follow-up purchase orders with requestors.

  • Execute the monthly control, being able to monitor results, do analysis, gather and review month-end financial comments to produce the monthly performance reports to be presented to the leadership team, both for Opex and Full Time Equivalents.

  • Provide support and training on all financial topics related to Opex recognition.

  • Participate in the coordination of the budgeting process, collect and gather data, working with different countries/stakeholders. Submit Forecast and budget in Anaplan.

  • Provide mitigation/corrective measures to look for efficiencies and performance improvement. 

  • Strict implementation and adherence to internal guidelines, instructions, processes and systems.

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Accounting or related field. 

  • 6 to 8 years relevant work experience in Controlling or Financial, Planning & Analysis in a multinational environment

  • Demonstrated solid analytical capacity and understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes. 

  • Experience working with Power BI, Data cubes and familiar with SAP. 

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 

  • Business acumen, problem-solving, customer focus and collaboration skills are essential. 

  • Proficient level of English (spoken and written)
