Newsweek is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst of FP&A to lead forecasting and analytics across all business lines of the company. In this high-impact role, you'll own topline forecast models—traffic, impressions, revenue, bookings, subscribers, and deliver critical insights that guide decision-making and performance across the businesses, as well as consolidated three statement models. You will be the go-to resource for topline actuals analysis and forward-looking projections in your areas of ownership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the monthly/quarterly revenue forecasting & reporting processes, develop executive and board presentations, and build forward-looking business trends & insights
- Drive the annual planning cycle, working cross-functionally to align on strategic initiatives, growth levers, and revenue drivers
- Act as a trusted finance partner to business leaders and teams; deliver data-driven recommendations and insights that drive performance and decision-making
- Build scalable forecasting models to improve accuracy and enable scenario planning
- Identify and implement operational efficiencies to streamline reporting and FP&A support
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, with significant focus on topline forecasting
- Proven experience delivering financial insights to executives and senior-level cross-functional stakeholders
- Exceptional financial modeling skills and the ability to synthesize data into clear narratives ·
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills
- Experience working at a high-growth internet, digital media or consumer tech company
DESIRABLES
- 3 statement modeling
- Experience with ERP systems and BI tools
Compensation
Base salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD
