Looking for a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to be part of Finance Processes and Modernization Delivery Team.  This position will play a key role in transformation efforts across FP&A (including expenses); building solutions in Alteryx to (1) automate business processes, (2) implement solutions to facilitate data integration to Anaplan and (3) provide central oversight to FP&A activities supporting our FP&A Anaplan models. This role requires someone who is tech savvy that can support project implementations to transform existing financial analysis, planning and reporting processes while leveraging tools such as Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBI, Anaplan and the Enterprise Data Lake.  

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support critical transformation initiatives by performing user acceptance testing of enhancements, helping to document business requirements, and partnering with other teams (including the Anaplan CoE and PowerBI CoE) to execute based on best practices.
  • Build solutions in Alteryx to efficiently load required data into Anaplan to perform modeling/reporting while working with IT and the Anaplan CoE to develop end-to-end integration between the Data Lake and Anaplan
  • Manage operational activities to support existing expense applications including monthly and annual tasks. Includes continuous improvement of existing processes and ongoing updates to documentation as existing recurring processes change or new operational processes emerge.
  • Perform administration activities to support Anaplan forecasting and planning processes including managing business rules and performing data loads.
  • Provide ongoing production support for Anaplan models including troubleshooting, ad hoc analysis, user onboarding and security reviews
  • Actively collaborate with other members of the Finance Processes & Modernization team to ensure data flows, data controls, data testing, and other requirements are met on an ongoing basis.
  • Demonstrate a strong technical understanding of the accounting for expenses including company policies and sufficient business knowledge to be able to verify and analyze information under review.
  • Use appropriate judgment in dealing with unexpected issues and requests, demonstrating an ability to prioritize work, and balance resource requirements to achieve solutions. When in question escalate and make sure something is required before time is spent on it.
  • Drive continuous improvement in engagement throughout the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • University degree in accounting, statistics, finance, or business management and or recognized accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA or CA is a plus).
  • Solid analytical and technical capability - ability to assimilate/summarize a large amount of information from multiple sources and present in a value-added form for senior management.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Alteryx
  • Preferred experience using PowerBI, Power Apps, SQL, and Anaplan
  • Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and discover new ways to perform business processes more effectively and efficiently.
  • Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work independently, using sound and independent judgment.
  • Results-oriented, can work under tight timelines and manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent customer focus and commitment to quality
  • Flexible on shift and overtime may be required to meet business deadlines.
  • Participates in educational opportunities; reads professional publications; maintains networks and participates in professional organization to always be up to date on job knowledge.
