About the Role

This is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who combines strong financial modeling skills with advanced data-analysis capabilities and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the annual operating plan (AOP) process, coordinating planning activities across the organization, challenging assumptions, developing executive recommendations, and delivering a comprehensive financial plan that supports Alteryx's strategic priorities.

  • Help lead the monthly forecasting process in partnership with functional FP&A teams, Accounting, and business leaders.

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analyses against plan, forecast, and prior-period results.  Analyze financial performance, key business drivers, trends, risks, and opportunities.

  • Support the development of Board of Directors, investor, and executive leadership materials.

  • Build clear, compelling financial analyses and presentations that support strategic decision-making.

  • Partner with business-unit FP&A teams, Accounting, Finance Systems, and other cross-functional teams to ensure financial information is accurate, consistent, and timely.

  • Develop dashboards, reporting tools, and recurring analyses that improve visibility into business performance.

  • Use data and technology to automate manual processes, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance the scalability of Corporate Finance workflows.

  • Support strategic projects and ad hoc analyses across the organization.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, public accounting, or a similar analytical role.

  • Strong financial modeling skills, including experience with long-range planning, forecasting, and integrated financial statements.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to executive audiences.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build effective relationships across functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Anaplan or another enterprise planning platform.

  • Familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, business intelligence tools, or data-visualization applications.

  • Experience preparing materials for executive leadership, Boards of Directors, or investors.

  • Experience in software, technology, or a recurring-revenue business.

  • Familiarity with SaaS financial and operating metrics.

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or another relevant advanced degree or professional designation.
