Western Door Federal is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst (Contract Management) to support our government client in San Antonio, TX. 

Work is generally expected to be on-site in San Antonio, TX with the potential for hybrid or remote.


Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
 

  • Working as a team, perform analysis of funding obligations and historical expenditures to identify anomalies and opportunities to correct inappropriate outlays and reallocate funds.
  • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, including but not limited to budget forecasting, business models, operational functions, workflow, processes, and other business-related issues.
  • Evaluate overall operational efficiency and effectiveness. 
  • Provide program manager and client with analysis to inform of enterprise resource allocation decisions and assess institutional risk.
  • Support both routine and special projects by communicating with multiple teams to ensure requirements are clear and understood from both a functional and technical perspective.
  • Contributes to program and task-related reports, briefings, justification and requests.
     

Qualification Requirements:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (6-10 years of relevant experience with GFEBS and contracting financial transactions can be substituted for educational requirements).
  • Expert knowledge with Microsoft Office applications; primarily Excel.  
  • Ability to communicate with senior officials (military and civilian) in both verbal and written form.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of Military Health System (MHS) policy and regulations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.  General Funds Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of government contract lifecycle management.
