We are seeking a talented individual to join our Mercer Financial Advice team at Mercer as a Senior Financial Advisor working in our Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Senior Financial Adviser
At Mercer Financial Advice, we help clients achieve their financial goals through personalised advice and comprehensive planning, delivering tailored solutions that align with each client’s needs and aspirations.
We will count on you to:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans tailored to clients’ goals, risk tolerance and financial circumstances.
Advise high-net-worth clients on investments, retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, insurance and other financial products.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through regular reviews and proactive communication.
Analyse client financial data and collaborate with accountants, lawyers and tax specialists to deliver holistic solutions.
Stay current with market trends, financial products and regulatory changes while meeting business development and compliance targets.
What you need to have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Advice, Business or a related field; CFP, CFA or equivalent highly preferred.
5–7+ years’ experience in financial advisory or wealth management, including managing high-net-worth portfolios.
Deep technical knowledge of investment products, financial markets, tax laws and retirement planning.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
Proficiency with financial planning software (Xplan) and CRM systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
