Responsibilities
Own core central financial processes with accuracy and speed.
Lead the systems roadmap — evaluate, implement, and optimise the finance systems stack (ERP, planning, reporting, consolidation, automation tools) so the function runs on best-in-class tooling.
Drive AI transformation — identify where AI can replace manual work (month-end close, consolidation, accounting, reconciliation) and lead the implementation of those solutions
Bridge finance & technology — work hand-in-hand with engineering/data teams to build and deploy the tools that make finance faster and more accurate.
Improve processes — redesign workflows end-to-end: from data capture to reporting, from AP/AR to close, from planning to insight.
Set standards — build the governance, controls, and documentation that keep a fast-moving, modern finance function reliable.
Be the change-agent — champion adoption across the team; you're as much a translator of technology as you are a finance leader.
Requirements
8+ years in finance, including senior/manager level — with a strong track record running core finance operations (close, reporting, forecasting, controls).
Deep hands-on experience with finance systems — you've implemented or run ERPs, planning/reporting platforms, consolidation tools, or automation (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or modern fintech stacks). You know what good looks like and can drive a tooling roadmap.
Real AI/automation transformation experience — you've led or been central to projects that replaced manual finance work with AI, ML, or automation (e.g., automated reporting, smart reconciliation, predictive forecasting). You can point to concrete results.
Process & controls excellence — you understand the discipline (SOX-adjacent, intercompany, close management) and can build it into a modern, automated world.
Bridging skills — comfortable working with engineers and data teams; you can speak "finance" and "tech" and translate between them.
Strong communication — able to influence C-suite and drive adoption of change across the team.
Background in crypto / fintech / high-growth environments.
Experience with AI-native finance tools (e.g., AI agents, copilots for finance, ML-based planning).
A track record of building or scaling a finance function in a fast-moving company.
