Our client is a leading distributor of technology, services, and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have an opening for a Senior Finance Manager to be based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Senior Finance Manager leads the financial planning and analysis function, providing strategic insights and guidance to executive leadership. This role is responsible for optimizing financial performance, mentoring finance staff, and driving initiatives that support the company’s growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis across business units.
  • Provide high-level financial reporting and insights to executive management.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Drive initiatives to improve working capital and financial efficiency.
  • Mentor and supervise finance team members.
  • Coordinate performance appraisals within the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.
  • Represent the finance department in strategic meetings and decision-making processes.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage. 
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ICAN) is required. 
  • Minimum of 6/7 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior role. 
  • Proficiency in use of an ERP (Preferably Dynamics 365) is required. 
  • Proven leadership and strategic thinking capabilities. 
  • Strong understanding of financial systems and regulatory frameworks. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


Skills Required
