Senior/ Finance ManagerJob Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations, reporting, budgeting, compliance, and governance of a sizeable property and asset management portfolio.In this role, you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, statutory compliance, budgeting, cash flow management, audits, taxation matters, fund management, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, auditors, regulatory bodies, fund managers, and service providers to ensure robust financial controls and effective financial management.
Job Description
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and statutory submissions.
- Lead annual audits and coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, fund transfers, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, taxation, and reporting requirements.
- Review financial transactions, payment vouchers, journals, reconciliations, and financial controls to ensure accuracy and governance.
- Administer government grants, insurance matters, contracts, and procurement-related financial processes.
- Monitor investment portfolios and review proposals from external fund managers.
- Lead and develop the finance team while driving continuous improvements in financial processes and controls.
- Engage and respond to queries from stakeholders, clients, tenants, and service users on financial-related matters.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business, or a related discipline. Professional qualifications (CA, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent) will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5- 8 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or financial management, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, audit management, compliance, and internal controls.
- Proven people management and stakeholder management experience.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
