The Opportunity
This position works out of our Plymouth, MN location in the Structural Heart Medical Device division. Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease.
The Senior Finance Manager will own financial analytics tied to strategically important projects for complex manufacturing and supply chain network. The role is a key driver of value creation who influences decisions leveraging fact based financial analysis.
What You’ll Work On
- Finance owner leading the gross margin improvement process, including identification and execution of large scale / high impact operation initiatives working in close collaboration with manufacturing sites, supply chain, and R&D teams.
- Develops and owns financial assessment of business case/ideas requiring investment across manufacturing network.
- Owns end to end business case process including financial analysis of value creation ideas.
- Finance representative of IBP (Integrated Business Planning) process relevant to Manufacturing/Quality workstreams
- Collaborates with Operation leadership team to assign targets, develop project pipeline, support execution, track progress and mitigate risks.
- Develop and deploy sustaining tools and processes to support the evaluation and identification of opportunities across manufacturing P&L
- Ensures that high impact programs are defined, resourced, and implemented to achieve financial objectives as defined by both the Annual and Long-Range Plans.
- Develop and execute long term strategy and roadmap for Gross Margin profile improvement including cost glides for key products.
- Present program progress, risks, and escalate decisions needed to Business Unit leadership.
- Ad-hoc projects
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis preferably in manufacturing space; preferred direct experience in value creation/margin improvement across manufacturing network and supply chain
- Bachelors’ Degree: Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred.
- The incumbent must have a good working knowledge of Cost Accounting concepts and exposure to manufacturing levers of gross margin improvement.
- Strong organization, communication, critical thinking/problem solving skills.
- Requires drive and passion including influencing skills.
- Solid technical skills – Excel, PowerPoint, Finance systems (Essbase, ERP, SAP)

$125,300.00 – $250,700.00
