The salary range for this role, based in New York is $132,320.00 to $165,400.00. The range will vary if outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Position Summary
This role suits an ambitious finance leader seeking a high-profile role within the Pernod Ricard North America Operations Finance organization. As the Sr. Finance Manager, the individual will be responsible for supporting Operations and Manufacturing decision making throughout the NA Region. This individual will have responsibility for financial management including planning, forecasting and analysis. Provide decision support and advice to the VP of Operations on all aspects of finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Projects and Continuous Improvement:
- Provide Finance Partnering and Decision Support to VP Operations
- Continually identify opportunities for harmonization and consolidation across the manufacturing facilities to drive costs out of the supply chain.
- Lead benchmarking and sourcing studies as appropriate to optimize costs (direct, indirect, headcounts etc). Ensure data integrity and enterprise strategic thinking.
- Identification and coordination of cost reduction and benchmarking to ensure optimized COGS for the company.
- Work with the Operations team to develop business cases for all major Strategic Projects and Initiatives.
- Support the Continuous Improvement team in identifying value-add opportunities and business cases.
- Improve and supervise New Product Development cost estimates and track the accuracy and integrity of delivery.
- Support the delivery of a suite of Key Performance Indicators that drive business performance.
- Capital Expenditure & Strategic Inventory:
- Own and operate the process for budgeting, forecasting and actuals reporting of Capital Expenditure and Strategic Inventory for North America.
- Lead Quarterly Cash reviews with the Operations business.
- Own annual 3-year Capex and Strategic Inventory Planning Cycle and co-ordination with HQ.
- Analyze the monthly results, highlight issues to, VP of Operations and provide balanced feedback to the SVP of PRNA Operations.
- Produce Management Reports on the overall progress of the region and propose and implement internal reporting improvements.
- Lead HQ required reporting submissions in coordination with the Reporting team.
- Control and challenge Capex to ensure the right investments are made both now and in the future. D
- Perform detailed analysis and in-depth challenge for all significant investments.
- Calculate ROCE (Return on Capital Employed) to further assess the investment opportunities.

Key Qualifications
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience within Finance / Accounting
- Public accounting or consulting experiences preferred
- CPA/MBA a plus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional skills on Excel and PowerPoint
- Desired experience in EssBase, JD Edwards, Hubble
- Interpersonal and entrepreneurial skills to allow for mutual understanding of problems and development of cooperative solutions
- Ability to make and influence decisions, multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Proven leader with supervisory skills for effective team building and motivation of direct report
- Process driven, with proven track record of process innovation while maintaining required technical and quality standards
- Proven ability to work with diversified group of individuals
- Candidate should be detail oriented, organized, work well both individually and as part of a team
